Max Kaplan

Max Kaplan is a traveler. He's worked as a Guitarist, Bassist, and Vocalist for some of the USA's top touring bands. Among them, The Growlers, John Németh & The Blue Dreamers, and Jason D. Williams. 

However, he started his journey in New York City, the son of a Bar-B-Q chef/ blues guitarist father, a fashion designer step-mother, and a professional fine artist mother. 

He was raised in New Jersey at his father's Bar-B-Q and Blues restaurant- Ruthie's, where he learned to play blues guitar and perform live. 

Max would eventually move to Memphis where in 2019, he recieved a Bachelor of Arts degree in music studies from Rhodes College. 

Immediately after college, Max began his touring career as the bassist for Tony Holiday. Soon after, Max started his own original project- Max & The Magics. 

Later in his career, Max would begin working with John Nemeth and Jason D. Williams as a guitarist and bassist. 

The most current phase of Max's career has him working as the bassist in The Growlers, an rock band from Los Angeles- where Max is currently based.
